Lorebary

Lorebary is a roleplay and worldbuilding platform that gives storytellers a single home for creating characters, worlds, and the systems that hold them together. Built as a community first — your home, your community, your life — it brings the tools of roleplay creation into one place so that players, writers, and worldbuilders can build out their imagined universes without scattering their work across a dozen apps. The platform is currently in beta and is openly inviting creators to join early and help shape what comes next.

The creative surface is built around three core verbs: create characters, create worlds, and create systems. Characters are the people who live in your stories; worlds are the places and lore they inhabit; systems are the rules that govern how roleplay unfolds. To support that work, Lorebary offers dedicated spaces including a Lore Workshop for building out backstory and setting, a Roleplay Studio for running the actual play, and a Proxy Portal that ties the pieces together. The framing is unapologetically about creative freedom — break the chains, burn the rules that constrain your imagination, and birth the chaos of a world only you can make.

Lorebary also functions as a living community. There are announcements and a roadmap the team shares openly, an archives section, and a rotating set of community favorites that highlight what people are making. Everything on the platform is presented as fiction for entertainment purposes, which keeps the focus on storytelling and play.
