Ruvnet Github
Ruvnet Github is the home of RuView, a WiFi-based sensing observatory that detects human presence, pose, and vital signs using WiFi DensePose technology—no cameras required. Hosted openly on GitHub Pages, the project visualizes what a room's WiFi signals can reveal about the people inside it, turning ordinary radio waves into a real-time picture of human activity.
The experience is built around a genuinely striking idea: instead of pointing a camera at someone, RuView reads the way bodies disturb WiFi signals in a space, and from that signal data it estimates pose, breathing, heart rate, and presence. Built-in scenarios let visitors explore the concept—an empty room, vital-signs breathing, multi-person tracking, fall detection, sleep monitoring with apnea detection, and intrusion detection—each rendered at up to sixty frames per second from metrics like RSSI, variance, and motion.
Because it runs in the browser as an open project, anyone can open the page and explore a frontier of ambient sensing without installing anything. That accessibility makes a research-grade concept approachable for curious visitors, students, and developers alike.
For anyone interested in the future of contactless sensing—elderly care, security, fitness, search and rescue, or gesture control—Ruvnet Github offers a fascinating, hands-on look. It is a thoughtful demonstration of how the WiFi already all around us can be turned into a window on human presence, privacy-preserving by its very nature because it never captures an image.
