Shapes Inc is a social AI platform where you talk to AI, to people, or to both at the same time. Its promise is captured in a single line — talk to AI with friends — and it reimagines chat as a multiplayer experience in which AI agents, called Shapes, sit alongside your human friends in the same threads. You can converse with your own original characters, with favorite characters, or with AIs you build from scratch, and the whole thing is free to use.

The product is built around a clear thesis: humans and AI are equal participants. Instead of isolating AI inside a separate prompt box, Shapes Inc puts friends and Shapes at the same table, working together in one place without app switching or disconnected prompts. Shapes can search, code, design, and actually get work done, so a thread is not just conversation but a shared workspace where everyone, human or AI, contributes their part.

Creating a Shape is intentionally personal. There is no catalog of prebuilt bots to pick from; you name your Shapes, give them roles, and they join the thread ready to act on your project.
